Are there overdraft fees with my Scarlet account?

No, you cannot overdraft your Scarlet® Bank Account. As such, there are no overdraft fees.

How is the Foreign Transaction Fee charged?

If you make a purchase in a currency other than U.S. dollars, a Foreign Transaction Fee will be charged on that transaction made outside the U.S. after conversion to US dollars. The Foreign Transaction Fee is 3%. For example: If you make a purchase that, after conversion from the local currency to U.S. dollars, equals $100, you will be charged a $3.00 Foreign Transaction Fee.

How can I avoid the ATM withdrawal fee?

Enjoy FREE ATM withdrawals¹ at over 55,000 ATMs in the Allpoint® ATM network in the US. Transactions at non-Allpoint ATMs have an up to $3.00 Scarlet fee. ATM operator fees and decline fees may also apply. Please see the Deposit Account Agreement for applicable limits and more details.
